		U tekstu koji ste čuli u br. 236 Jim pokušava da nagovori Betty da pođe s njim u šetnju u park. Betty se izgovara da nema vremena: prvo mora da pomogne mami da opere posuđe, a zatim mora da ide u kupovinu. Ni na ručak neće moći s njim, jer poslijepodne mora kod frizera, a zatim ide da kupi novu haljinu, kaput i cipele. On smatra da su ti izdaci nepotrebni: "Meni si ti dovoljno lijepa", kaže udvarajući joj se. Betty ga odbija odgovorom: "Ali ne i Tom-u. Imam s njim sastanak u šest."
