Do pogrešnog izgovora engleskih riječi obično dolazi iz slijedeća dva razloga:
a) nekada glasove izgovarate pogrešno, n.pr.. u umjesto a, o umjesto u, i umjesto ai itd., jer vas zavede napisani oblik;
b) naglašavate pogrešno: greške u naglasku javljaju se često ako naglašavate drugi ili treći slog, umjesto prvi. Sve riječi u vježbi za ponavljanje br. 126 naglašene su na prvom slogu.
U br. 126 čuti ćete svaku riječ sa zvučnog zapisa dva puta. U stanci koja sljedi ponovite je dva puta i istovremeno pratite tekst kako je napisan.
